Product FAQ's
General
Why no tea bags? Tea bags = tea dust and fragments. Lower quality, fewer active compounds, plus environmental waste (plastic linings, bleached paper). We don't do half-measures.
Yah Cha uses ceremonial-grade and premium loose leaf green tea. You get the full spectrum of polyphenols and EGCG that actually deliver results.
Why the specific brewing temperature (80Β°C)? High heat destroys EGCG and catechins - the compounds that make green tea functional. Most people boil green tea to death then wonder why it's bitter and ineffective.
80Β°C preserves bioactive compounds while eliminating bitterness. This is about getting what you paid for, not tradition for tradition's sake.
Can I drink this hot or cold? Your choice. But if you want maximum bioavailability of the compounds doing actual work (energy, cognitive function, gut health), follow the brewing instructions for each tea.

GREEN GODDESS
What's the caffeine content? Will I crash? 5mg microdosed caffeine + 100mg L-theanine. Sustained focus without jitters or 3pm collapse. Precision, not blunt force.
How is this different from coffee/energy drinks/matcha? Most functional beverages create tradeoffs. Coffee crashes you. Energy drinks wreck your gut. Matcha can overshoot.
Green Goddess is multi-system: energy + gut health + cognitive function + mood. Simultaneously. No compromise.
Why effervescent tablets? Faster absorption, enhanced bioavailability, complete portability. Ceremonial-grade quality without the equipment.
How many per day? Start with one. Most people find 1-2 daily optimal. You control your dose.
What does 'Pre-Order' mean? Limited first batch, high demand. Early supporters get priority. Ships on launch day.
GREEN VELVET
What makes this matcha different? Uji, Japan. Ceremonial-grade. Organic. This is the matcha used in traditional Japanese tea ceremoniesβhighest quality, stone-ground, vibrant green, zero bitterness.
Most matcha on the market is culinary-grade (fine for lattes, not for drinking straight). Green Velvet is what matcha is supposed to be.
How do I prepare it? Traditional: Whisk 1-2g (Β½ tsp) with 60-80ml of 80Β°C water until frothy. Modern: Add to smoothies, lattes, whatever. Just don't waste ceremonial-grade quality by burning it with boiling water.
What's the caffeine content? ~35mg per serving. Balanced by L-theanine naturally present in matcha for calm, sustained energy.
JADE MOUNTAIN
What is Bi Luo Chun? One of China's top 10 famous teas. Delicate, hand-rolled spiral leaves from early spring harvest. Sweet, floral, incredibly smooth. This is connoisseur-level green tea.
Why is it more expensive? Limited harvest window. Hand-picked. Labour-intensive hand-rolling process. You're getting peak season leaves that most producers can't access or won't invest in.
How do I brew it? 80Β°C water, 2-3 minute steep. These leaves are delicateβrespect them. You can re-steep 2-3 times, each infusion revealing different notes.
ELYSIAN
What are tea cakes? Chun Mee green tea blended with collagen, lightly hydrated, and pressed into single-serve discs. Traditional Chinese preservation method meets functional convenience.
Pop one disc in your cup. That's your serving.
Why collagen? Multi-system optimization. Green tea's EGCG + collagen's structural protein support = skin, hair, nails, gut lining, joint health. Beauty and function, not one or the other.
How much collagen per cake? 5g
How do I brew it? Drop one tea cake in your cup. Add 80Β°C water. Steep 3-5 minutes. Done.
The pressed format means longer shelf life and you're not measuringβjust grab and go.
Can I re-steep it? Yes, 1-2 additional steeps. Flavor lightens but compounds are still active.
