Green Tea is the Solution. The Industry is the Problem.

Green Tea is the Solution. The Industry is the Problem.

Ask anyone and green tea is the healthiest thing you can drink after water.

But here's the problem: most of it is still sold like it's 1998. Dusty bags. Zen platitudes. "Find your glow."

Meanwhile, women are walking around exhausted, inflamed, and over-caffeinated — and one of the best daily habits going is sitting on a shelf, ignored, because the category never evolved.

Here's what green tea actually does — the three things with real human evidence behind them, said straight.

01

For weight that feels stuck

EGCG and caffeine shift what your body runs on — a little more stored fat, a little less sugar — and nudge fasting blood sugar slightly down. Not a fat burner. A small, real push in the right direction, every day, with nothing taken away anywhere else.

02

For the tiredness more coffee doesn't fix — and the "what was I saying?" feeling

Less caffeine than coffee, plus L-theanine. Together they've been shown to sharpen attention — switching between tasks and staying accurate — for the hours after you drink them. Calm energy and a cognitive edge, not a buzz. Brew it properly: a well-brewed cup has more than double the theanine of a rushed one.

03

For the inflammation running in the background

Chronic low-grade inflammation sits underneath a lot of how women feel. Green tea is anti-inflammatory, and it works hardest where it lands — your gut — calming inflammation there and lifting your body's own antioxidant defences. Not switch it off. Stop it being stuck on.

None of these is dramatic on its own. That's the point. A real benefit on three things that matter, no notable trade-offs, easy enough to do every day for years. That's what a foundation looks like.

So why isn't every woman drinking it?

Because the industry got lazy. Bitter leaves. Plastic pyramids. Vague promises.

Because the loudest voices prioritise profit, peddling fads instead of foundations and siloed fixes instead of systemic solutions.

But also because we're human — we like shiny new objects that promise overnight fixes. Green tea has never promised that. It just works, quietly, if you keep drinking it.

We're not here to be cute. We're here to be the name you think of when you think green tea. Globally.

Not because I've asked nicely. Because I'm ready to earn it.

Watch this space.
